Hi there!
I’m the author of Artifacts: How We Think and Write About Found Objects and Professor of English Language and Literatures at Wright State University, in Dayton, OH.
With Sarah Tindal Kareem, I am also the co-founder and editor of The Rambling.
I read, write, talk, and teach about eighteenth and nineteenth century books, histories, and popular cultures–but I’m into lots of things… literally, things: their shapes, their stories, their histories, and their meanings.
You can use the menu to the left to find out more about my work, and if you’d like to get in touch with me, you can find me on Twitter or drop me a line at lake dot crystal at gmail dot com.
Thanks for stopping by!
